TCDD Eskişehir Railway Station Retrofit

Scope:The need for strengthening was felt in the historical reinforced concrete station building within the registered structure of the High Speed ​​Train line in Eskisehir. Surveying, steel and concrete material detection and geotechnical studies were carried out in the structure consisting of three blocks and then performance analysis and strengthening projects were implemented. The Turkish Earthquake Code in force was used in the analyzes. As reinforcement method, reinforced concrete walls and FRP were used. At the end of the project,  nonlinear analysis was approved by ITU.
